The world you grew up in has changed; we must respond.

The role of the youthworker, whether paid and in charge or a volunteer trying to love a handful of middle school kids, has never changed: to represent the congregation to the young so that they may see and encounter Jesus Christ. That said, the world you grew up in has changed, and changed dramatically. Understanding what it means to adjust the call in light of the Cultural Pivot of transactional relationships and deeply felt loneliness takes youth ministry to whole new levels. Youth ministry has never needed thoughtful, committed leaders than today. Come and explore how you fit.

Dr. Chap Clark Biography

Dr. Chap Clark (MA, MDiv, Fuller Theological Seminary; PhD, University of Denver) is the leader of two nonprofit organizations: ParenTeen™, committed to train and equip adults, schools, churches and communities to understand and respond to the developmental and spiritual needs of adolescents and emerging adults; and the Institute for Ministry Leadership (IML), a congregationally based recent graduate leadership program that helps churches to nurture and equip young people in their calling as agents of Christ and His Kingdom. Throughout his career, Chap has served as a global speaker and consultant, author, including Hurt 2.0: Inside the World of Today's Teenagers and a nationally recognized expert on cultural and generational trends, adolescent and young adult development, and practical theology. His years of academic leadership, research, teaching, and pastoral ministry offers a rare interdisciplinary perspective on societal trends, faith and life, and the impact of culture on emerging generations and their families.
